A friendly group for anyone interested in gardening.
We chat about all things to do with gardening over a cup of coffee. Most months we have a topic for discussion related to the time of year e.g. planting seeds, getting the garden ready for winter etc.
The group provides a chance to share gardening knowledge, seek advice from fellow gardeners and get suggestions for good plants for our chalky soil.
When we have excess plants or cuttings or seeds we bring them along to the meetings. We also have a WhatsApp group where members advertise plants they have to give away.
We have occasional visits to local gardens such as Cupani Gardens in Seaford , Prairie Gardens in Seaford and One Garden at Stanmer Park.
Our Christmas social is a visit to a local Garden Centre for tea and cake
